Believe in the Lord and His teachings
What We Believe
- The Holy Bible is the inspired, inerrant and only infallible Word of God. – II Tim. 3:16; II Peter 1:21
- There is one God, eternally existent and manifested in three persons; co-equal in power and purpose: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. – I John 5:7; Luke 3:22; I Tim. 1:17
- Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus was crucified, buried and raised from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is today seated at the right hand of the Father as intercessor, and advocate for those who believe in, have faith in trust in and rely upon Him. – Luke 3:22; Matt. 1:20, 23; John 19:18, 41-42; Matt. 28:6; Heb. 4:14, 7:25
- All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. – Rom. 3:23; Acts 4:12; John 14:6; Heb. 9:22
- Sanctification occurs in the new birth, and continues through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, through the Word, and by the Holy Spirit. – Heb. 13:12; I Cor. 6:11; John 17:17; Eph. 5:26
- Holiness is God's standard of living for His people. – Heb. 12:14; Rom. 6:22; I Thes. 4:7
- The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is essential to Christian living and is given to all believers who ask for it. – Acts 2:4; 38-39; Luke 11: 9-13
- Water Baptism by immersion is for all believers. It is a testimony of the believer's association with the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. – Rom. 6:3-4; Col. 3:1
- The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer. – Is. 53:5; I Peter 2:24; John 16:23
- We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. – I Cor. 12
- There will be a resurrection of the dead to either eternal life with Jesus for the saved, or eternal damnation in hell for the unbelieving lost. – Rev. 21:7-8; I Thes. 4:16-17; Matt. 13:30, 40-43
