Ways To Support Our Christian Education Ministry Activities

Prayer Partner

Intercessory prayer is the act of praying on behalf of others. According to the Bible Scholars, Intercession is prayer that pleads with God for the needs of others. But it is also much more than that. Intercession involves taking hold of God's will and refusing to let go until His will comes to pass.

Intercession is warfare—the key to God's battle plan for our lives. But the battleground is not of this earth. The Bible says, "We are not fighting against humans. We are fighting against forces and authorities and against rulers of darkness and spiritual powers in the heavens above." – Eph. 6:12. Intercessory prayer takes place in this spiritual world where the battles for our own lives, our families, our friends and our nation are won or lost. As Believers we have a direct "hotline" to God. At any time, we can boldly come into His presence. – Heb. 4:16. This incredible access to God is the basis for intercession. Intercessory prayer is a serious matter.

As a Prayer Partner we ask that you intercede on behalf of Pastors Hope Ministries as led by the Holy Spirit. The spiritual warfare you conduct in your intercession will provide critical prayer covering for our ministry activities. If God shows you the identity of specific spiritual strongholds that are at work against Pastors Hope Ministries, as a Prayer Partner we ask that you take authority over these strongholds in the name of Jesus.

If you are interested in becoming an Intercessory Prayer Partner, please contact us to express your interest. Pastor Cevie will get in touch with you to talk over your interest.

Pastors Training Institute

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. – John 1:1-3 (NASB)

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. – 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)

Scripture reveals that the world was created by the Word of God. Relative to the world we live in, Smith Wigglesworth once stated that 'there is no establishment outside God's Word. If you build on anything else but the Word of God-on imaginations, sentimentality, or feelings-it will mean nothing without the foundation; and the foundation will have to be in the Word of God.'

As such, The Pastors Training Institute is undergirded by and established on the spoken Word of God.

The Pastors Training Institute (PTI) offers 1-week sessions divided into several modules. Each module will be taught by several pastoral instructors and one Licensed Pastoral Counselor on a 6 hour/day rotating class schedule. The ideal student count per class is 8 rural Zambian Pastors.

Given the 6-hour rotating schedule and 8/class student count, each 1-week session will require 5 pastoral instructors and 1 Licensed Pastoral Counselor, and will accommodate 48 Zambian pastors.

As a PTI Instructor the sum total of your divinely inspired wisdom, discernment, theological understanding, pastoral experience and Biblical world view will be brought to bear at the Lord's appointed time for the edification of His pastoral servants. In short, God purposes to nourish His servants with the theological manna resident within you.

Each 1-week session will be uniquely characterized by the Biblical passions of each PTI instructor. PTI instructors are encouraged to teach from the book of the Bible that they are most passionate about. In addition to summarizing the key points of their respective books, PTI instructors will also provide specific sermon direction and prep techniques around with those key points.

If you are actively pastoring a church and you would like to discuss your interest in teaching a module, please contact us to express your interest. Pastor Mike will get in touch you to talk over your interest.

Our first 1-week class session convened during December 2014 at the Nyampande Boys and Girls Boarding School in the Rufunsa District of Zambia near the border of Mozambique. We trained 54 Pastors from various rural sections of the Rufunsa District.

Our second 1-week class session convened during December 2015 at the OM-Zambia compound in the Central Province of Zambia near Kabwe. We trained 60 Pastors from various rural regions of the Central Province.

Each 1-week training session was taught by U.S. Pastors who were led to lecture on 1 of their favorite NT or OT books of the bible. These lectures included instruction on how to build sermons from the coursework materials. Pastor Cevie also conducted 3-day module on the need for pastoral Moral Integrity during the Kabwe session.

During our third 1-week class session December 2106, we reconvened both the Kabwe and Rufunsa Schools together in Kabwe for a special continuing educational 1-week session. We hosted over 114 returning rural pastors for this gathering!

In December 2015 we were informed of the availability of land near Kabwe, suitable for the permanent campus of our Pastors Training Institute. Kabwe is Zambia's second largest city. We are planning to break ground sometime in the later part of 2016. We have launched a capital campaign to fund the initial phase of the infrastructure build-out. We will provide future updates relative to the campus construction plans/budget and capital campaign progress.
